As August comes to a close, I've found myself doing something I probably don't do often enough — stopping for a moment and looking back.
And when I look back at this past month, and really the past several months, one word keeps coming to mind: Blessed.
Be Weisz Event Planning started with something I've always loved — bringing people together, creating beautiful spaces, paying attention to the little details, and helping someone's vision come to life.
But lately, I've realized those skills can take me into spaces I didn't necessarily expect.
This month alone, I had the opportunity to take on two completely new types of projects.
I facilitated a professional meeting — helping make sure things ran smoothly, people were welcomed, details were handled, and someone else could focus on what they were there to do.
I also had the opportunity to help with an office redesign, taking the same eye I use for events and applying it to a space that needed to feel intentional, functional, and inviting.
Neither one was a wedding. Neither one was a party. But both felt very Be Weisz.
Maybe It's Not Just About Events
And I think that has been one of my favorite realizations this month. Maybe this business isn't just about planning events.
Maybe it's about creating experiences, solving problems, bringing a vision together, and taking care of the details — wherever those details happen to be.
Looking back over the last several months, I feel incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me with something important to them. Every event, every new challenge, every referral, every "Hey, could you help me with this?" has helped shape what Be Weisz is becoming.
And I'm learning to say yes to things that stretch me a little. Because sometimes those are the opportunities that show you what else you're capable of.
Fall Is Calling
While I'm taking a moment to appreciate where I've been, I'm also getting pretty excited about what's ahead.
Coming up, Be Weisz has a Sweet Sixteen , a First Birthday , and TWO fall weddings on the calendar.
Different celebrations. Different styles. Different people and stories.
And lots and lots of details.
Exactly how I like it.
Thank You, August
So, August, thank you.
Thank you for the unexpected opportunities.
Thank you for the people who trusted me.
Thank you for reminding me that growth doesn't always look like doing
more
of the same thing.
Sometimes growth looks like being asked to do something you've never done before — and realizing, "Yeah…I can do that too."
Here's to reflecting on how far we've come, being grateful for where we are, and getting excited about where we're headed next.
Fall, Be Weisz is ready for you.
